Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS) Commissioner-General Major-General Paradzai Zimondi (Retired) on Saturday opened up about his personal relationship with Mugabe’s nephew (Bigboy Samson Chikerema) a.k.a Air Chief Marshal Perrance Shiri (Retired), who is not only his colleague, but also a neighbour and brother-in-law.
 
Major-Gen Zimondi (Rtd) says Zimbabwe’s new Minister of Lands, Agriculture and Rural Resettlement, Mugabe’s nephew Bigboy Samson Chikerema a.k.a Chief Marshal Perrance Shiri (Retired) was his war time instructor along with Rex Tichafa at Mgagao Training Camp in Tanzania in 1975.
 
Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS) Commissioner-General Major-General Paradzai Zimondi (Retired) went to war from 1976 and 1977.
 
After independence,Perrance Shiri was farming at Matepatepa, Ruya in Mashonaland Central but was later convinced to take up an empty farm next to the late Rtd Gen Solomon Mujuru as his neighbour.
 
The farm has Arcadia Dam, and the neighbouring farm was owned by a white farmer known as David Butler and left vacant before uptake by Rtd Gen Paradzai Zimondi who is not only Mugabe’s nephew Shiri’s neighbour but brotrher inlaw. More news to follow. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
